Malcolm Davis Shino on Porcelain
All the pictured pots are porcelain, raw clay on the outside with Malcolm Davis Shino inside.
Sadly, the kilns were shutdown prematurely, perhaps having reached 1400f. They were restarted some days later and fired to completion.
All of the shino pieces in this firing, not just these 5, were affected similarly.
Tops and bottoms of 5 new bowls - the bowl to the right is from a previous firing and is included for comparison.
As you can see, the bowls are reasonably round. Some of the images below, due to camera angle, look distorted.
